Loved the book references at the beginning of each chapter for setting the scene and including a mix of old and new titles.
This book reminded me of Breaking Bad, of which there is a reference to in the book. It just wasn't as fully exciting as BB and lacked the depth needed to make it a great read.

Like a TV movie on ABC family
This book was a mindless read, much like a movie made for television and shown on ABC Family or Hallmark. It was kinda silly, predictable, and not thought inducing. It was just goof enough for me to finish it anyway.

This was a really fun beach read. There were certainly some moments where I identified with the characters. The story flowed and was fun. Nothing was very deeply developed but it was a fun ride and I wanted to see how it ended. A quick, light well done ride.
