This was okay. I found the main characters to be incredibly irritating. They were always angry at each other for stupid reasons and had to continuously remind themselves to calm down even though there was nothing to be angry at. They were both too hot headed.
The storyline was intriguing but it felt like it had to be fleshed out a little more.

I believe that this book could have been amazing. But the problem I had was how annoying the main characters were. I do not understand why they were so angry and annoyed toward each other all the time. It made the book impossible to continue reading.

the beginning led to a good set up, but as the story progressed i lost interest. my main issue was the characters— i just couldn’t connect to them and didn’t really care about them
the characters also seemed to act younger than they actually are (21 year olds acting like they’re 17/18)
i also don’t know how much i enjoyed the journey aspect of the book (which was the whole thing basically)
i won’t be continuing the series but i’m not mad i read it

A fun space adventure with a dash of fantasy! Who doesn’t love a swashbuckling space outlaw and a bookish university gal who can’t stand one another? I felt the plot did drag at times but I still really enjoyed this clean read!

I really enjoyed this book! It sort of felt like Treasure Planet and Atlantis mashed together. It was fun and engaging. However, I wasn’t a fan of some of the language — stars, blast, stars-idiot, blah blah blah — because it felt really childish to me, but nonetheless, it was a fun read.
