Well, this was fun!! Like really fun!!
I have to say my expectations were low, but this hit every mark.. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I was addicted to it, the feminist in me died screaming..
Nico Russo, oh, he can own me any day, every day, and I'm not even sorry about that!! And he has a full sleeve, I'm unwell..
I loved him so much, red flags, what red flags, I'm colour blind.. That man was everything I wanted him to be, obsessive and crazy and so unapologetically him.. He took what he wanted and didn't care about anyone else, and I absolutely loved that for him.. And his burning hatred towards a plastic ring was absolutely hilarious. But, I do wish we knew more about his life.
Elena was a little bit of a doormat, but at least she was aware, and I respected her for that. I loved how her personality shone through with Nico, she wasn't afraid to tell him off. It made me so happy seeing her be herself with him, he helped her break down her walls little by little. And I have to say, while I did experienced some second hand embarrassment, I really liked her.
I loved most of the secondary characters too.
Their moments together were everything, the tension, the banter, the magnetic pull they felt, all the staring ahh the intensity..
For this being insta-lust, it was really well done with all the push and pull we experienced. Their chemistry was top-notch.. The sexual tension had me gagged, and it really paid off.. And those small moments, loved them even more.. Their flirting, everything I didn't knew I needed. There was not a moment I didn't love!!
Their first encounter, perfect.
Him shooting someone threatening her not long after they met, absolutely iconic.
Him burning down the gas station because the owner dared to touch her, epic. And so was him killing you know who..
Him wrapping his fist, twice, around her ponytail, hot. Him rubbing his jaw and running his tongue across his teeth, even more hot..
Him looking for the pink thing she wore, giggling and kicking my feet.
Him pushing her into the pool, screaming, crying, throwing up.
That man was so obsessed, he just couldn't stop thinking about her, and I never loved someone more.
And him calling her baby, I'm afraid that did something to me, the scream I let out was absolutely not normal..
There's a lot more moments, but I think you get the picture... I fear I have lost my mind a little reading this and yet I can't be sorry about it.
You must be wondering, if I loved it so much, why not five stars? Well, near the end there was a little misunderstanding that ruined my fun..
Was it bad enough to knock down half a star? Not at all..
Am I still being petty and knocking it down? You bet I am..
Also, this honestly felt very wattpady, I personally, couldn't care less, but I know not everyone would love that. So consider this your warning..
Fun fact, some time ago, I read an one star review of this book and thought to myself, who in their right mind would love this?? The answer is me. I loved this. Inhaled it, left no crumbs. So, yeah...
Anyway, this was such a great time, this just may become one of my favourite series..

Why are yall hyping up this book? Also, just read Ayman’s review and honestly agree-I’ve noticed more than two racist comments. idk.
Loved it!! Although there were a few grammatical errors that made it difficult to read at times.

I had fun with this. It was a quick read, and I only had to put it down once because the characters were pissing me off. Not sure if I’ll continue but never say never
