did i continue this series after absolutely despising the first one? why yes, yes i did. and i was only doing it in preparation for my dance of thieves rr but here we are and now i only have the last book left…sigh
i’ll give it this, it was slightly better but (once again) these characters are so effing bland, the insta love makes me wanna k word myself, and the setting being her in captive and in ONE PLACE THE WHOLE BOOK when it’s a fantasy???

I enjoyed this one more than the first. I like how fast it moved and the back and forth between Rafe and Kaden but I prefer a little more romance there really isn't to much in this book only little moments here and there.
