This was my 2nd time reading this story; I just started a re-read of the entire series in anticipation of [b:Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone|57700492|Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone (Outlander, #9)|Diana Gabaldon|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1618500612l/57700492._SY75_.jpg|41817159] being released this fall. Gabaldon does a great job spinning a short story about Ian and Jamie when they were young, inexperienced mercenaries.
