Although it's great to read about Ian and Jamie, this just seemed less than an average story for Diana.

I feel like we didn't learn anything new or get anything from this short story. I did enjoy seeing the dynamic of Jamie and Ian without Claire. It's easy to get through.

Nice character introduction, but title has no significance.

I took one star off of my note because the narrator could do a better job. I'm bilingual and his pronunciation of French names and place names hurt my ears and my soul. Otherwise a fun read and interesting read.

I only read "Virgins," the Outlander short story. Probably worth a read if you're a big Jamie Fraser fan, and his friendship with Ian Murray is nicely portrayed. It's a nice little snippet into a part of Jamie's past that we've never explored much before - i.e. his life before he met Claire. Still, if any Outlander fans felt compelled to skip this one, I'd say that's probably okay.

After reading through the series twice now, this was a refreshing insight to life with Ian and Jamie before the series started. I love everything Outlander!
