So this actually triggered me to start overthinking on things I hadn’t even thought about yet…

There were a few moments I felt enlightened, but overall this made me feel worse and was just a reminder of how much women go through and are meant to just handle it… there was no new advice in this book that I hadn’t heard before. Hearing some of the women’s stories was a nice reminder of how you can always overcome hard things, but yeah not feeling super great after finishing this lol

At least the audiobook was short.

Nothing like having a PHD doctor say "Overthinking means you're stressed out" like, gee, you think?

A lot of storytelling with not a lot of substance. Not even what could prevent overthinking, just kept telling stories about different women spiraling. One stories moral was "You cannot control other people" only for the next two stories to say "anyway, here's how these women change the men in their lives"

Not really any helpful stuff, anything in here you can easily get from other self help books.

not for me, this book aged badly

Mediocre. Some good examples but mostly filled with things I already knew/ basic basic therapy techniques. Also stereotypical
