i didnt think i would like the split POV but i actually enjoyed it a lot
This book was great. I love that Willowdean's story keeps going though this book follows Millie Michalchuk. The girl friendships in this book are very real-mean and nice and sometimes just busy or self-absorbed and everywhere in between.
Summary: When circumstances put Millie Michalchuk and Callie Reyes together over the course of a semester, the girls realize they have more in common than they ever imagined.

took me a while to finish it because i have been having the weirdest reading slump for a while now
BUT
i went into this book thinking callie and millie were gonna end up together for some reason?? lol but it seems like i’m not the only one who thought that based on the reviews
overall, the story is really cute and i love the girls friendship and the message it gave. i recommend (-‘:

This was a cute read. I wanted to love it as much as I love Dumplin', which I've read twice and have blown through so fast each time, but Puddin' was picked up and put down so many times before I finally sat and finished it.
It's not a bad book, but I don't see myself picking it up to re-read it.

This was the perfect companion to ‘Dumplin’ - I loved learning more about Millie!
Loved this book. Loved the different alternating voices and loved the growth of one of the heroines. Yes, some things felt forced and repetitive, but there are so many redeeming things (humor--I laughed out loud several times--the message, the friendships, the overall plot) that I didn't mind some of the flaws!
Millie’s attitude makes this book. She’s a girl who knows who she is and what she wants, and nothing is going to stop her — not even societal expectations. Callie’s story arc was strong, too, but I never connected to her like I did with Millie.
It was great to “see” Willowdean again!
