Pertama baca novel ini waktu kelas XI. Di perpustakaan ada novel ini dan dipinjam oleh temenku. Berhubung penasaran, aku pinjem novel ini dan aku baca soalnya jam kosong. Nggak sampai dua jam, aku sudah menamatkan membaca novel ini.
Dari segi cover, lucu ya? Gambarnya menarik. Lagipula, judulnya aja udah mengundang minat. Kukira ini novel fantasi lho awalnya! Beneran deh.
Terus, setelah membaca novel ini, jujur aku kecewa. Aku udah terlalu berharapp waktu baca novel ini. Aku kira novel ini beneran novel fantasi, ternyata cuma berisi pesan-pesan yang ditempel di pintu kulkas. Pesan itu berfungsi untuk menghubungkan Claire dengan ibunya. Heran juga, kenapa komunikasi kok pakai pesan di kulkas segala. Gak praktis banget. Ngomong langsung lebih hemat lagi.
Ceritanya juga bisa ditebak lah. Jadi, ngerasa agak kriuk gitu mbacanya. Gak seru. Oh, ya, novel ini boros. Karena, dalam satu halaman bisa cuma beberapa kata aja. Ck. Sayang pohon gak sih?

This little book was talked about at my book club & it's sound interesting. Not sure what to expect I pick up a copy & am so gald I did. I don't read book fast but read this on my breaks at work finsihed it in two days. So it's great little book to get you back inro reading.
I love the structure of the book been in little notes, so you images can fill in everything between this mother & daughter. It did make me cry

This story is told in the form of post it notes written between a mother and daughter, and not surprising they are left on the refrigerator door.
The story is really easy to read and is very engaging due to the post it notes. It builds up and ultimately the mother, Elizabeth is diagnosed with breast cancer. This obviously turns into a life altering year between the two.
The notes obviously start to change, as does the relationship between mother and daughter.
I loved the morals written behind the writing, don’t waste a moment of your life and love and cherish your loved ones.
