Interesting concept; post-it notes between a mother and daughter. A little bizarre that such heavy, emotional things were said through notes but I guess that's the point of the book.
It's a typical story about the relationship of a cancer-fighting mother and her sixteen-year-old daughter Claire. Those are surely heart-melting, but what is new about this is how it's dialogue based, without any particular description or whatsoever, presented in the form of notes, written by the mother to her daughter and vise versa. The whole story is told from this perspective which made what seemed to be a corny cliche a little outstanding and fresh enough for me to bear with.

Sad but lovely. I think needed to have more dialogue but that's probably the point.
Quick read but packs quite the emotional punch. Kuipers manages to tell a story and create strong emotion in such a short format. Highly recommend.
