Under an Endless Moon is the second book in the Moonlit Ridge series and it's Otto and Raven's story. This is a small-town, brothers best friend, forbidden romance and I couldn't put it down.
The story gave us romance, danger, mystery, suspense, angst, friendship and so much more.
Told in both the past and the present, we see Raven and Otto's history and get a front row seat to a love that was meant to be. These two had a bond that couldn't be broken. You could feel the connection between them right from the start, and as the years past it just grew stronger.
They tried denying the passion and chemistry between them until it just couldn't be contained and we are treated to the forbidden element in the story that was filled with tension while at the same time gave us some scorching scenes.
The author included a mystery/ suspense storyline that had me glued to the chapters and I'll admit I never saw that twist coming.
This novel was fantastic and was a great addition to the series. I loved it and would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

The audiobook was narrated Connor Crais & Desiree Ketchum. They were superb and did a excellent job portraying these characters giving them their own voice and personality. Their voices complimented each other and they were well cast for the role bring the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

Let me just say this right off the bat: Under an Endless Moon deserves ALL. THE. STARS!! Iām completely obsessed with Otto and Ravenās storyāit pierced straight to my heart, left me breathless, and yes, it may or may not have brought on a few happy tears. From the very first page, this book had me in a chokehold and didnāt let go. And the spice? Oh. My. Gosh. A.L. Jackson really took things up a notch with this oneāmake sure youāre ready for a cold shower because the heat in this book will leave you blushing. š³
Otto Hudson has spent years keeping his best friend's little sister, Raven Tayte, at arm's length. But when Raven needs a place to stay, Otto canāt help offering his homeāeven if it's a temptation they both know they shouldn't give in to. As they navigate living under the same roof, their undeniable chemistry builds with a tension that feels both intense and inevitable. The spice kicks in earlier than youād expect, but thanks to the tension thatās been simmering since From Here to Eternity, the payoff is all the more delicious. (Don't worry, Otto and Raven won't keep you waiting too longābut trust me, the tension is a slow-burn masterpiece that makes the heat even hotter!) But love isn't the only thing waiting for them; their dark and dangerous pasts come hurtling into the present, threatening everything theyāve built together.
Raven's fiery determination and resilience shine as she fights for the freedom to live life on her own terms, while Otto's protective, cinnamon-roll-with-a-dark-side nature makes him utterly swoon-worthy. Their chemistry was like a downed wire sending sparks everywhere, and the eventual capitulation? Ohhhh. so. satisfying!! Do you love pining as much as I do? Raven and Ottoās dynamic is top-tier and legit one of my favorite yet.
A.L. Jackson masterfully weaves together a forbidden romance, raw emotional healing, and pulse-pounding suspense. The dual timelines, with flashbacks offering rich layers to their connection, add even more depth to their love story. And the scenes with little Nolan? Utterly heartwarming, adding a sweetness that perfectly balances the darker elements.
The Moonlit Ridge series keeps getting better, and while every reader will resonate differently with the individual stories, From Here to Eternity set an undeniably high bar. But I think A.L. Jackson said "checkmate" when she typed The End on Under an Endless Moon. Otto and Ravenās story doesn't just meet From Here to Eternity's emotion, spice, angst, and suspenseāit takes it to a whole new level.
And thatās exactly why Iāll forever be a diehard fan of A.L. Jacksonās writing. Her stories are angsty, steamy, and packed with all the heart-wrenching, heart-healing goodness I crave. Her storytelling is simply phenomenalāshe knows how to break your heart, heal it, and leave you craving more. The first two books of this series have been absolutely phenomenal, and I cannot wait to see where she takes us next. If you love forbidden romances with found-family vibes, morally gray heroes, and a touch of danger, Under an Endless Moon is an absolute must-read. Trust me, you won't want to put it down!

The way Iāve been waiting for this one!!!!! I just knew Otto & Raven were going to be so good, and these two have me in such a chokehold now!! I devoured their story. Otto & Raven have so much more history than any of the other guys realize. Theyāre best friends, they have their flirty moments, but they hadnāt crossed that line. Throw in some forced proximity (my favorite), and they can only avoid the mounting tension for so long. I absolutely love Otto and how heās Ravenās safe space, always has been. I love the ease of the friendship between them, which only makes them that much stronger together. And can we talk about how far gone Otto is for her? I love a man obsessed. Otto & Raven both have some demons theyāre carrying, with Otto seeming like he takes on the weight of the world, and my heart hurt for him. I just love the way these two show up for each other, the chemistry between them (itās hot, yāall), and that they finally get to be together, even if it was a rocky road to get there. Otto & Raven are perfect. I absolutely ate this one up. Obsessed.
[ARC from Valentine PR//A.L. Jackson in exchange for an honest review]
This is the second book in the Moonlit Ridge series and while it can technically be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading in order.
We got little glimpses of Raven and Otto in From Here To Eternity (book one) and I was so here for their vibes so I was extra excited when this book was announced. I love the off limits/forbidden aspect of the brotherās best friend trope. There is always so much angst and tension involved and let me tell you this book DELIVERED with that angst. I absolutely loved Raven from the beginning. She is such a feisty and strong FMC and I loved watching her tease Otto to the point of no return. Absolutely recommend this one!
Thank you so much to A.L Jackson for the eARC.

Review Title & Vibes:
{Endlessly In Love} with this book! Brotherās best friend will forever and always be one of my favorite tropes, and this was hands down an absolute delight to read. I was completely addicted to the bond between Otto and Raven. His loyalty and protectiveness of Raven were deeply ingrained to his denial of āmoreā for their relationship. He put her on a pedestal but couldnāt continue to deny her once she was under his roof. Ravenās determination to fly was so admirable! She knew what she wanted and found the strength to take the leap. All of her scars, all the things she lost, could have broken her but she rose above. I knew a reckoning would happen when the forbidden relationship came to light.. and it was brutal. I was on the edge - knowing the ultimate evil that lurked in the shadows. I loved the twists and turns of the plot - solidifying the connection between our MCs. The spice was perfection. This found family gives me all the feelings! I canāt wait for Kaneās story (that epilogue has me primed for more).
My Blurb:
Otto knew Raven was off limits, but heād always been her protector, her safe place, her comfort. He may have been 9 years older and constantly labeling her his ābaby sisterā - but as she grew into a gorgeous young woman, his attraction to her couldnāt be denied. Ravenās past was marred with pain as was her body. Plagued by nightmares, Otto always came to her rescue to chase away the darkness. At 25 she was finally ready to spread her wings, with or without the only man she always loved.
Audio Notes:
{Dual} DesireƩ and Connor were spectacular as Raven and Otto. The chemistry, tortured past, rage, and joy - all of it registered. Each character voice was distinct, and the timing of each dramatic scene was excellent. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Holy cow this book was so freaking good. The plot, the mystery, the spice. All of it was amazing.
Otto is the ultimate protector and big golden retriever, but only to the ones he loves.
Raven is sweet and sassy and not afraid to hold her own.
I absolutely loved their chemistry and how far both of them would be willing to go to protect the ones that they love.

I really really enjoyed this audiobook! Otto and Raven, I was so excited for their story. You could tell in the first book Raven was into Otto. I love a good forbidden romance. Brotherās best friend, I think yes.
This was a slow burn but the story was so enjoyable.
We got new narrators for book 2. I really like when we get different voices for each new couple. They were great. They had me hooked from page 1. Canāt wait for the next book!
