𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 is the 2nd book in the Moonlit Ridge series by A.L. Jackson, featuring a must-read brother’s best friend, forbidden love romantic suspense for Otto and Raven. Strap in for the ultimate morally gray hero and wounded heroine with a shared tragic past and an obvious soul-deep connection that produces some seriously intense angst and mutual pining! I loved every second of this phenomenal story, from the indelible friendships, the brotherhood, the loyalty, the banter, the raw and gritty emotion, the riveting suspense, danger, action, and the shocking plot twists! As much as I loved the first book, I knew Otto and River’s story would be special, and I was sooo right! This series is definitely one of my favorites, and I can’t wait for the next book!

The audio version is narrated by Desiree Ketchum and Connor Crais, and they blew me away! Both narrators managed to convey they deep emotions, the angsty tension, the romance, and the danger with ease! Even with the large cast of characters, including little Nolan, they made everyone feel unique. Audio is definitely the way to go! Although I like to read along sometimes, too!😉

Let me start out by saying if you haven't started the Moonlit Ridge series, it is a must read. Do not sleep on it! Especially this one. It may be my new favorite. Whether you start with this book or the first one, you will love the characters and the storytelling.

Under an Endless Moon is absolute perfection! I knew after reading From Here to Eternity that I was going to love Otto and Raven's story. Well, I had high hopes for them. And A.L. Jackson did not let me down.

Raven Tatye is the sister to River (from book 1) and she is an absolute spitfire. She has a strong sense of who she is and what she wants, but the one thing she can't have is her brother's best friend, Otto. Even though those two have an undeniable "platonic" love for one another that stems from a long history of being in each other's lives, you can always feel something boiling underneath. Raven has a past that is ugly, and the men in her life just want to protect her from any more evil. They are almost a little TOO protective. But she's ready to fly.

Otto is River's best friend and like a brother to him. They've been a part of Sovereign Sanctum since they were young and have done a lot of good for people that need saving. But that good has stemmed from evil that lurks, from their pasts and their present. And Otto is the epitome of everything good, even if it is done in such a morally grey way. It's all about protecting those that he loves. His favorite people. And Raven is one of his very favorites. But it can never be more than that. He can NEVER cross that line.

Told in dual timelines with a past that meets the present, Under an Endless Moon is an epic story of a love that was always meant to be. Within the darkness, a love was built and I couldn't have loved it more. Otto and Raven were just EVERYTHING! Their chemistry was undeniable, but it was their friendship and the way they took care of one another that was just so beautiful. They had a bond that couldn't be broken. And when Raven needs a place to stay and becomes Otto's roommate, you know that you are in for a real treat. Because those two push each other to their limits and it is explosive goodness. Trust me. They basically edge each other until they HAVE to give in to their desires. And just DAMN!!

"You said I was every fantasy you've ever had, Raven. But you are my only dream. The one wish I'd never dared to make. And now I have it in the palm of my hand."

You not only get the best forbidden romance filled with major tension and a true connection, but you get a story of found family that truly love and protect one another. You get a story with past characters that you'll fall in love with if you haven't already. You'll get banter and love and protectiveness and chemistry and don't forget the suspense that ties it all in together. I loved loved loved this book and never wanted it to end. This story is a great addition to the series and I cannot wait for more.

Unfortunately, the age gap aspect is just not for me. If they had just met, it would have been fine. But they met when she was nine years old and he was nineteen. It was just icky to me.

I knew after book one in this series that Raven and Otto would have a hot and explosive relationship and I was soo right! The author really brought both the heat and the angst with this one and there was so much going on emotionally as well. Finding out more details about both their pasts really broke my heart, it was seriously sad but it made their HEA all the sweeter in the end. The suspense was really solid as well, some of the things that happen throughout the book was truly scary and heightened an already emotionally charged situation. I alternated between audio and print but the audio won out in the end, the narrators are just too good and really gave it their all to portray Otto and Raven. I’m so glad there are still more books left in the series, I’m becoming attached to the characters and can’t wait to see what happens next but in the meantime if you haven’t read this book or the first both were great, especially if you enjoy angsty, small town romance with some tense suspense.

loved the suspense & found family aspects in this! you can tell all the characters care for each other so much. just generally not a fan of the couple dynamics here (age gap, unrequited love vibes, grumpy mmc), but i know there's others who love that so i think it's still worth the read!

Raven Tayte has been Otto Hudson’s kryptonite. After giving an oath to Raven’s brother that he wouldn’t touch her in a more than friend’s way. Only, when Raven decides she needs to spread her wings and move out of her brother’s house, Otto makes a bad (or good) decision and offers up his house to Raven. Only problem? Otto’s desire for Raven may cause his true feelings to come out.

Raven has always felt woken by Otto’s presence, only problem? Otto is her brother’s best friend and is off limits for a multitude of reasons. When their tragic past comes back to haunt them, can they make it through this mess together and perhaps give forever a try.

I absolutely loved this book! It had a great amount of plot and spice. The romantic suspense plot is one of my favorite things to read nowadays. I highly recommend this series and am looking forward to the next book. Some tropes include: brothers best friend, V!rgin FMC and bad boy MMC, romantic suspense, friends to lovers, motorcycle club feels and more. Some TWs to consider: domestic violence, m*rder, s*xual harassment, g*n violence, explicit violent scenes and more. Please look at the TWs and take care of yourself.

Thank you so much A.L. Jackson and Valentine PR for the arc!🖤

Wow I loved that so much!! A.L. Jackson is a new to me author and this is my first dip into the Moonlit Ridge world and I cannot wait to go back and read the first book! This is book 2 of an interconnected standalone series, so while I didnt feel like I missed out on much from book 1, this book made me excited to go back and read River and Charleigh's story.

We all know I am feralllll for a brothers best friend so I was immediately excited to dive into this and let me tell you I was hooked from chapter 1!

First off.. the TENSION😮‍💨😮‍💨 You know when nothing happens up to 50%, this is gonna be GOOD!

Otto's confliction between wanting Raven for as long as he did and staying loyal to his best friend and brotherhood had me all up in my feels! And then Raven trying to prove that she's not a little girl anymore and she doesn't need the protection of that brotherhood.. UGH! & the way the flashbacks seeing Otto be there for her through her nightmares when she was younger was so sweet and heart wrenching. The character development of these two were just incredible.

- brothers best friend
- forbidden
- motorcycle club
- romantic suspense
- age gap

HIGHLIGHTS:
- "It’s my breath that’s gone. Seeing you like this. Touching this face that has followed me into every dream. Being with the only person who could ever save me from the nightmares. The only one that ever made me feel safe. The one who made me sure I wanted to discover what it is like to be taken. Completely and fully."

- "You think I wouldn’t stand in front of every bullet for you? Take every blow for you? Suffer any consequence?"

- "I’m not breakable, Otto. And if I was, I’d want you to be the one to break me."

- "Because you were always worth it to me. Because I would always fight for you, the way you promised to fight for me."

“There was no forgetting Raven Tayte because no matter how painful it was, this woman was carved on my heart and written in my soul.”

Amy knocked it out the park once again! From Here to Eternity was one of my top reads last year! I flew through that in about 48 hours. I love River, Otto, Kane, Theo and Cash. Charleigh and Raven are some of my favorite FMC’s. Raven is so strong and positive even after everything she went through growing up. Otto is her grounding force, twin flame, soulmate. He has always cared & loved Raven but never thought he was good enough even though Raven only wanted to ever be with him. Once they get together sparks fly and it is 👌🏻

Nolan is the cutest and one of my favorite fictional kiddos! He is wise and always has the right things to say “That’s right. Family is who you love most. And this family will always take care of each other.”

Read this if you’re looking for a small town romance with some angsts, suspension and spice. Burly Bear & Moonflower forever! My new favorite book couple!!

4.5 ARC/ALC REVIEW

Under an Endless Moon is book two in the Moonlit Ridge series and follows Otto and Raven.

I am loving this series! After From Here to Eternity, I was stoked to get River’s best friend (Otto) and sister’s (Raven) story and it absolutely did not disappoint. And listening to the audio was definitely the right choice for experiencing this.

I loved the way AL set up this suspenseful, dual timeline story and how we slowly got the story of what happened from the time River and Raven came to the guys and when they moved to Moonlit Ridge. And how Otto had been caring for her and looking out for her all along.

When Raven decides it’s time to spread her wings beyond her brother’s house, but simultaneously has someone after, Otto opens his home to her and the barrier between the two of them starts to dissolve.

The trauma they had both been through was heartbreaking but their connection that formed from it was so beautiful. But the oath Otto had made to River had him a little slower to accept his feelings. But man when they told each other they loved them, I got a little misty eyed. Especially listening to the audio and the emotion from the narrators.

The little twist at the end was PERFECT for their story! Connor Crais and Desireé Ketchum did a phenomenal job! I cannot wait for Kane’s story!

Thanks to AL Jackson and VPR for the early review copies!
