dark emotional mysterious

Of course, I have to say thank you to AL Jackson and her influencer team for gifting me an ARC of this book. I absolutely fell in love with Charleigh and River in the first book but OMGGGG the angst between Otto and Raven was everything!!

I loved the vibes we got between Otto and Raven during the first book and the tension that exists between them in Under an Endless Moon is so delicious. I love the depth of their friendship and how they’ve always been able to understand each other. The lengths they’d unknowingly go to in order to protect each other is so sweet and I seriously LOOOOVE a morally grey hero. The alpha hole protectiveness that exists in Otto was one of my favorite parts of this book, I have to admit.

And seriously, the way Raven is able to continue to push and be positive and keep trying towards a life she wants had my heart exploding. Knowing her history from the first book, she deserves everything and she really fights for it. Her strength is surprising and I love her character all the more for it, she would do anything for her family.

Under an Endless Moon is an emotional, bittersweet, found family, brothers best friends romance story with plenty of angst and spice and an unlikely family who would do anything for one another. I seriously love the Moonlit Ridge series and am so ready for the rest of the guys’ love stories!!🩵

We’ve met Otto and Raven before in past books and now we’re finally getting their story!

And WHAT a story! There’s intrigue, mystery, mu(r)der, betrayal, friendship, family, love and ALL the feels!

Raven has every reason to hate the world, to want to give everyone the big proverbial F U and instead, daily, she chooses kindness, compassion, to focus on the good and not dwell on the bad. And she has her sights set on the only man who has ever made her feel safe and can, literally, touch her.

Otto masks his pain and rage with humor and a false carefree attitude that only Raven has ever been able to see through. But being his best friend’s “kid sister,” who is no longer a “kid” but instead a stunning rockabilly-ish bombshell complete with the beautiful dresses, he has to learn both that he IS worthy of her and he DOES deserve happiness.

I absolutely loved these two! They’re everything two slightly broken, jagged edged MCs should be and Otto’s hardness is beautifully matched with Raven’s gentleness. I wish I could just crawl into their world and live with this amazing group of friends!

We have a hint at which of the single men left is next to find and fight for his happy ending! I’m SO here for it!

Thank you to AL Jackson & Valentine PR for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I always get excited when AL is coming out with a new book because I just know it is going to be one that I enjoy. There is the element of the motorcycle clubs which always makes me intrigued. Most of her men are morally grey which is another check mark in her favor. The spice is always fantastic, and then there is the element of suspense that gets me every time! I find myself trying to guess who is going to be behind the turmoil but apparently am not good at that as I have yet to figure out one yet! This book had ALL of these elements PLUS my favorite trope- BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND. Otto and Raven were just chef's kiss in this!! The buildup. The backstory with the dual POV and dual timeline. The chemistry between these two. The tabooness and then of course the only one bed. Come on AL! This book was stacked. You knew right off the bat that neither of these characters were what we were seeing. There was more happening the whole time. I did not see the end coming with the betrayal that happened but instead of breaking our people it only made them stronger.

Raven is on a mission to spread her wings. She loves her brother but can no longer live with him. She is going to make her move for the man she has had her eyes on for forever- Otto. Her brother's best friend. She just KNOWS he feels how she does but for some reason he keeps pushing her away. Well now that circumstances have changed, she is living in his house with him. She is surrounded by him constantly. She is going to tell him the truth. She is going to lay it out there and hope he feels it too. But first she decides to test their chemistry. See she has something she hasn't told anyone and once she tells Otto- that's how she gets his walls to lower. And what she experiences with him is unlike anything she has ever experienced. And even though she thought it before she knows now that they are meant to be. But then things start happening to her shop. Someone from their past is coming for them. And even though she acts like she doesn't know who it could be- she does. Because Raven has another secret. And the more she explores this thing between her and Otto the more it becomes apparent that this secret is going to come out. She just hopes that their love will be able to survive the other side of it.

Otto has been fighting this feeling that he has had for too long. See he has had this thing for his best friend's little sister Raven. But it can never be. He swore it. So he has been what he can- he has stood by her through thick and thin. Been there for her when she needed him. And somehow that now means that she is living with him. She is constantly in his space. And even though she hides it he can see what she feels. He can see what she wants. But he can't give in. Until one night when she bares a secret of hers to him. Something she has been hiding that she lets out. And she asks for his help with it. He gives in. He is only human. But then one time turns into more and confessions of feelings. And this all feels so right. But then things start happening to Raven's store and Otto's house. Otto has things he is hiding from his squad. Things he thinks he needs to handle alone. He is convinced that is what is coming for him. H is determined to take care of this before it gets too far. But then his worst fear happens and he can only hope that he is in time THIS time. Because even though he wasn't before, it feels different now. Raven is his and he is hers.

I am really excited to read book 1 and to get to see who all of these guys fall to their knees for. I am also excited to get to learn more about the guys. I feel like we are getting glimpses and of course I love the found family in this series. It just makes each book so much fun as it expands. I really liked reading Otto and Raven- though they had a long journey it was worth it. I always appreciate how well AL handles heavier topics (there are some in this book by the way). The ONLY reason this one wasn't five stars is because I felt like it was tad bit too long. At the same time, we got additional spice scenes which I am here for LOL.

Thank you to Valentine PR and AL for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

This series by AL Jackson has been so good and this one is no different!

Otto + Raven were always meant to be end game and when they finally get together it’s everything!

Otto is Raven’s brother’s best friend and over 10 years older than her. He saved her years ago and since then, there connection has been so strong.

But Otto never wanted to cross that line. That is until Raven is in danger again and he will stop at nothing to protect her. She moves in with him and as they spend more time together, the tension finally snaps!

This is swoony, spicy and suspenseful! I loved every minute of it!

A MUST read if you love:
•Small Town Romance
•Brother’s Best Friend
•Age Gap
•Forced Proximity
•Morally Grey Hero

Under An Endless Moon Audiobook Review

Author: AL Jackson

Couple: Raven & Otto

Review: This audiobook was once again phenomenal! Amy was able to capture Raven and Otto perfeclty with the narration and you could feel the chemistry both of them had together while bringing this story to life! I enjoyed this audiobook from start to end and was unable to hit pause unless I absolutely had to. Another thing that made this one so great was how expressive both narrators were with their roles!

AL Jackson is absolutely one of my all time favorite writers + Under An Endless Moon is NO exception !

Otto + Raven are such a great brother’s best friend story ! I mean who doesn’t love a macho, ex-motorcycle club man, who is so down bad about his girl, that he will only her see the goofiness and softness that he carries inside of him . All while our leading lady is his perfect counterpart and has so much to tell than what meets the eyes .

The two of them are the most perfect pair - especially once you start getting the pieces of their backstory that we have been missing all along . I cannot wait to see what book three is going to bring us !

This is book two in the Moonlit Ridge series and it can be read as a complete stand alone .

This book/audiobook was given to me for honest review by Valentine PR + Literary Management !

🩵I love a good romantic suspense novel that has forbidden love, spice, and unforgettable characters. So, I know when 𝙰.𝙻. 𝙹𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚜𝚘𝚗 releases a book, it's going to hit those boxes and oh so much more! I was not wrong. I was absolutely addicted to this book.

🏍️ Raven and Otto. Oh my heart! These two. Otto is River's best friend and the man Raven has crushed on for a while. When they are forced together, I had the best time falling for them both. The way Otto was with Raven had me swooning so much! They have amazing chemistry between them, and pining for each other was absolutely fantastic! Throw in some protectiveness, some banter, and twists, and I just couldn't get enough!

🎤 𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝐾𝑒𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑢𝑚 lent her voice to being Raven to us. She hit all the emotions that Raven had, and she absolutely nailed it! 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑟 𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑠 is just the man to match her! His voice flowed like velvet while he put his whole self into bringing us Otto. Together this duo did a magnificent job with bringing this story to life!

❤️‍🔥Love a story that will hook you instantly? Fall hard for some spicy, sizzling chemistry? Age gap your jam? Then you absolutely need to grab this one up! 𝙰.𝙻. 𝙹𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚜𝚘𝚗 will pull you in from the first word, keep you on the edge of your seat, make you fall head over heels for characters, and leaving you desperate for the next book!
