Again, I could copy and paste my review of the previous books in this series.

Nothing particularly insightful included here (not that it aims to analyze) and the telling is a tad too twee for my tastes, but I still do like Stephen Fry and I love these myths, so it's fun to have them recounted again.

I will certainly read the next book in this series about The Odyssey sometime soon after it comes out, especially with news of Christopher Nolan adapting the original work for his next film.

Took a break and just stopped reading it. Will be picking back up soon

Stephen Fry's melancholic voice resonates the magnitude of the Trojan war.

Great listen (one of my best). Beautifully written so that even a commoner unaccustomed to the Greek Mythology would find it simple to understand.

Banger.
I devoured this audiobook in almost one single day.
The way in which the story is presented is engaging and thorough without being overly prescriptive.
Enjoyed Fry's little asides about remembering every name/place/lineage.

In the third book of Fry's Great Mythology series, we delve deeper into the Trojan War and the legendary heroes who took part in it. Fry's storytelling skills make learning about ancient times an enjoyable experience. I am eagerly anticipating the next book in this series, where he explores The Odyssey.
dark informative

I already complained about how large and unwieldy this book is, so bc of that I'm glad I'm finished. But it was very interesting and informative, mostly for giving context and history to the Trojan war story.
