This one was just “meh” for me. Couldn’t get into the story, and didn’t really like or care about the characters. Even Reacher seemed ho-hum.
It was...fine. But I'm done buying these. It's best to just remember the older, better books.

I really liked this book. The pacing is fast and exciting, it's got a good mix of action and mystery (a little less on the mystery then The Sentinel imo), and it still got most of the Reacher book points.
The influence of Andrew Child is noticeable and it took me a bit of getting used to. Some of the patterns from the previous book in sentence structure or scenes are a bit off or missing. Some of this is because the pacing is sped up, some might just be a different stylized difference.
I think the book lost points in the rating because the above differences are noticeable, but once you move past them I think it's an overall improvement from the past several Lee Child only books

Just when you start thinking, I love these Jack Reacher books but this one seems a bit far fetched, you get slung around the roller coaster :)
