This book was a little confusing to begin with - it jumped around quite a bit but it made sense once you get through the first part. Tbh, could do with some rearranging at the start.
The relationship also felt a bit rushed, it didn’t feel like there was any connecting going on when the relationship began - felt a bit odd
Despite that, I liked the storyline and I’m glad there were non-generic parts (you’ll see what I mean if you read it) and I’m looking forward to reading the next book

Not great!
Not great..... it started of promising and just got worse, and worse, and worse. The characters were not loveable. The story wasn’t loveable. I’m afraid this author is not for me.

A solid 3 ⭐️/5.
lol
My updates say it all. This was fun to read. I don’t know if I was supposed to be laughing while I read this, but I definitely did. I probably won’t read any more in this series but this was a good palate cleanser.

I didn't enjoy this as much as some other Tammy Walsh books, but I didn't realize until the end note that it was her first scifi romance. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars instead of 3.
I felt the characters had promise, but their feelings toward each other weren't built with any depth. Also, there were problems with the timeline. Alice was supposed to have been in stasis for 3 weeks, and the story proceeded at least 3 more days after she awakened, but when she returned to Earth she'd only been gone 3 days. Finally, secondary character Maisie was treated as older, even almost elderly, but she'd only been on the ship 13 years and was implied to have been young and attractive when taken from Earth.

A book with action love betrayal and lots and lots of space travel....She ( Alice) is the woman who steels his heart. She is out with her friends partying to say goodbye to their soon become wife- friend Hazel when they are abducted...By luck she wakes up in her pod in a spacecraft full of smugglers and her adventure begins.
He (Nighteko) is the captain of the smugglers that had abducted Alice and the one who will fall madly in love with her. By some twist of events Alice overhears his crew that they have poisoned him In order to weakened him, so they can challenge him as a captain and he makes a dal with her to help him heal in exchange her freedom. The story is pretty good with a lot of action and twists and for an alien book it is really low in steam, not graphic at all, not pages on pages smexy action( not that I am against it, I love my books steamy and hot as lava)... This is the first book of the series and sets up the starting point. So if ou want to meet the Titans and their women then start with this book....
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Still on my Alien Romance bimge, but this was the worst yet sadly.
There was weird time jumps, and flashbacks to something that happened only moments before. There was no reason it couldn't have just been in chronological order with no flashbacks/time jumps.
It was slow to start in comparison to the other books I've read of this genre in the past few days, with no abduction happening until 12-15% mark.
The deal between Alice and Nighteko was founded on information that you were never told how she got ahold of and makes no sense.
Because most of their time was spent on ships and not planets there was very little world building or explaination of the species.
In general the writing wasn't bad, it just missed a lot of the details this genre needs.
The romance was sweet, even if it was quite sudden and unfounded at the start, they improved as the story progressed.
Overall, not great and I wouldn't recommend in comparison to the other Sci-fi romances I have read this week.

Who knew the bachelorette party in the middle of nowhere would lead to being abducted and traveling across the galaxy. Fighting her way to get back home and hoping to find her friends along the way!
