A mis 22 años de edad leo este libro por vez primera. Tengo una mezcla de sentimientos ahora mismo, pero el que reina es la melancolía. Las travesías de d'Artagnan y sus tres valientes amigos me recuerdan a su vez, aunque no por similitud, mis propias travesías a mi corta edad; aunque he dejado a amigos tan queridos por el camino, siempre estarán en mi corazón. Siempre seremos todos para uno y uno para todos.

I would have given this the full five stars had I liked the characters more. It was a fast paced, easy read, and - especially after the halfway mark - very compelling. Too bad all the musketeers were totally self-absorbed and as finicky as a group of 13-year-old girls. If it hadn't been for Milady (the evil Countess!) I wouldn't have enjoyed this as much as I did, but she was so diabolically awesome.

Very good, but unfortunately couldn't live up to the expectations set by the Count of Monte Cristo.
The fights, the humour, the mystery. What is not to like? The three musketeers and their young friend d'artagnan are heroes and the best of friends I have ever seen between the pages of any book I have read.
Even as a girl I laughed and was moved by the story not wanting it to end.

the perfect adventure book, very funny, romantic and fun. Much better than any of the movies based on it.
