Ne znam šta sam ja očekivala, ali ovde se ništa ne dešava gotovo čitav roman. Bilo mi je zanimljivo, i Dimin stil je čitak ali mnoooogo mi se vuklo.
Za roman koji ima ekranizacija više nego što mogu da nabrojim, malo mi je razočaravajuć. Kao mala sam obožavala da gledam i slušam priče o musketarima. Volela bih da mi je i knjiga dala to uživanje, no dobro. Valjalo bi da se iskupi u Grofu Monte Kristo.

Action, adventure, romance, drama, intrigue... moustache twirling. An absolute masterpiece if you can get around the older language. It's easy to see how these characters have been adapted and had their tale retold so many times.

fun book, a little too long. If some of the fat was trimmed, and the ending was a bit better, I might have just’loved this book. The main problem is that it looses steam, and by the time it truly picks back up I've already been exhausted by the length and fluff.

The best thing about this story is that all of the musketeers are great. D'Artagnan is lovable in his fresh-faced resourceful enthusiasm; Porthos is lovable in his bravado; Athos is super badass and awesome with his hidden nobility and classiness and dark streak; Aramis is beautiful and academic. Possibly my favorite chapter is the one where he's arguing theology with some theologians and D'Aratagnan is bored.
