I enjoyed this way more than the siren one. Rushed through it and could have read it in one day if I didn't have to adult for awhile.

I officially don't think there's a book Elise Kova could write that I wouldn't absolutely devourer! This is the fourth book of hers that I've read and I seriously can't pick a favorite because thay are all amazing!

Faelyn is one of the last witches after the passing of her grandmother. One day she comes across a runaway moon spirit, who is held captive by the Lycan king. This spirit breaks an object that hold half her power but instead of returning the power to her, it now lives in Faelyn. The Lycan King now has plans to marry Faelyn while also keeping the moon spirit captive. But his handsome Knight keeps drawing Faelyn's eye.

I couldn't put this book down! I love the growth Faelyn has, her deep friendship with Aurora (moon spirit), they way she wants to create bonds with spirits vs use them to her benefit, Evander is so sweet (definitely someone who is now one of my book boyfriends), I was even thinking the same as Faelyn when it came to Conri (I was thinking he wasn't too bad but dang that twist!)

I love the world building and how there were mentions of the other Midguard areas/the other Married to the Magic books. The characters are relatable, the love story made me giddy and smile. I was so sad it ended but I love their happily ever after.
