If you don’t like math or history then this ain’t the book for you. It was not what I was expecting. The last part of the book was my favorite because it focused more on the stories and lives of the women. The beginning hopped around and dove deep into code breaking which was hard to follow - especially in the audio format. Stuck it out though and did learn a lot.

Really fascinating. Not sure I truly understood all the details of the actual code breaking work they did but very interesting to learn about the recruitment, living situation and come full circle and hear about the problems giving up employment and reintegrating to be wives and mothers after the war.
