“because you’re my girl and that’s not going to change.”

ahhh, i feel like a piece of me breaks or grows everytime i finish a book in the addicted universe. but the little bonus chapter at the end has got me SOSO excited for the like us series! moffy and garrison’s relationship is already one that i loved and just to know its still as strong as it was makes me so happy and so joyful.

willow and garrison are by far one of my favourite couples i have ever read about. through all the trials, tribulations, and the massive sea that separated them, they remained as in love with one another as the day they met and they deserve the soulmate title. i will stand on this sinking ship and scream about how much i love gillow.

willow is by far one of my favourite characters. she is so relatable and so reminiscent of me. an introvert who loves marvel and tumblr and all things to do with fandoms. its so surreal to me she now has her own fandom of people who love her as much as she loved her faves. willow is just everything, she is shy and awkward and adorable. she has a small group of friends who appreciate her even if she is silent and cant find words to say or make conversation and i felt so valid as a very introverted person. she is someone i want to read about for hours on end and could never be bored. her growth and her perseverance and how strong she is. she is so inspirational and i just love her so much. she deserves the world. also pls her and daisy’s friendship has my whole heart. whole fucking heart. like their matching rings and just the way they support one another.

and her other half, garrison abbey. garrison and lo have the best character arc in my opinion and i hold no bias. not only there relationship and how lo constantly wanted to make garrison feel welcome and included because he was that child once. but garrison as a character. sure he is one of the BEST book boyfriends and albeit the bare minimum always asking for consent before hugging, kissing and even canoodling with willow is just such an attest of his character and how much he loves her even respecting her wanting to take things slow. not only that but he one of the most heartbreaking stories and fuck all his brothers and his parents for how they were with him. i hope garrison knows how deserving and worthy of a good and fulfilled life he is. because knowing willow was his saving grace and one of the reasons (along with the hales - screaming crying throwing up) for him to keep living. he deserves so much and it hurt reading every time he believed he didn’t and thank fuck everyone reassured that man because as they should!!

“garrison and i gained another family. not just with the calloway sisters, but with each other.”

(SPOILERS) a summary of thoughts:
- garrison calling willow my girl THEN PROCEEDING TO CALL THEIR CHILD THE NAME OF THE MAIN CHARACTER and then giving her the middle nickname lauren after lo. im actually deceased at this point why do they insist on doing this.
- vada being a bmx rider is so fucking cool, like thats so unique and unexpected but also so amazing!!
- the found family taking me out 24/7 and the fact they all supported vada at her bmx competition despite her coming 6th because they were there it was almost like she got 1st.
- moffy and garrison interactions have my heart
- i wanna sing london boy everytime i see garrison even though he isn’t in london?! like willow is in wakefield?? unless thats in london idk geography not my strong point.
- fuck all garrisons brothers and how fucking badly they treated him for no reason. may they eat shit and rot. they literally broke him down to NOTHING. they broke bones, bruised him. and fuck their parents for doing nothing?! your son does not need thicker skin- he needs his brothers in prison.
- i love the core eight and their interactions sm
- seeing the core six appear from others pov and just how sweet and caring they are despite what they have been through. i just love the calloways and their little family.
- rose feminist icon as always
- whenever they get married and the name on the chapter changes i just cry of happiness like they deserve this sm

i honestly love this duet and would replace oxygen with it (too far but i don’t really care its the truth, this couple OWNS me) im so grateful to have a series as amazing as this and to even have the opportunity to continue to read forward with the spin off. please read this whole series.

“we’re twenty-four, but when we’re together, i feel blown back. it feels like we’re only twenty, then seventeen. distance, time, miles and hours are intangible, metaphysical things, all woven and jumbled in an invisible tapestry, and like my favourite comic books, the beginning is really the end and the end is just the beginning.”

OK, this book was really good. I’m definitely not saying it was bad. I love the main character. Willow and I was all right with the other character Garrison and her love interest. Overall, the book was amazing and I finished it within a day and I probably would recommend the series overall but these books it wouldn’t be horrible to skip them. They were definitely good, but they were not as amazing as what they could’ve been, but that is not a bad thing. Either way the books were pretty good and quick and they did deal with very serious topics very well in my opinion and I think it was done very well and I liked it, this book  is not getting a higher rating because I am willing to bet that within a few weeks I will not remember what this book was about or what happened inside of the book

i rly enjoyed this i do think however that the formatting made it so there are moments that are almost lost? a lot of parts were talked in the next time, for example there would be a present day where there is a build up to something, a jump to back then, and back to present day where the thing being built up already happened. it wasn’t enough to hinder my enjoyment but i do wish some of those moments had been included.
