2.5⭐️ I have never disliked a Lynn Painter book and I am sad to say I did not really enjoy this one. I found some of the plot points to be ridiculous and unbelievable and the multiple point-of-view switches in the same scene were distracting.

frankly insulted that jack's arc didn't revolve around being the golden child and learning to eat crow, how is he STILL being a dick to his sister

she should stick to YA imo. she’s really good at writing immature plot lines which i eat right up in YA but cannot stand in NA. still had the lynn painter gooey magic though!!!!

hated how much the povs shifted though. povs should not switch in the middle of a chapter pretty much ever.
