3+His books are always fun and well-written ans this was no exception. I just prefer the Scotland Street and Africa series.

Pretty much just one eccentric character having a tirade most of the time. Dull.

I love the way this book meanders through people’s lives. Comfort reading.

DNF...I couldn't get into it.

Interesting premise, entertaining read. A bit rushed in the end (could've been indulgent), dragged out in the start (could've been brief).

Couldn’t finish. Read 100 pages and was incredibly bored with the dense, dry dialogue and flat lead character.

Delightful - not 'quite' as good as his first adventure, but fabulously entertaining. Read this as a respite from all the doom and gloom in the news.

A light read as it lacks depth of characters and story.

So I recognize that most books are written for a specific audience in mind; that audience just did not include me. Ever. Ever.
