I thought it was slow to start but it really drew me in. All I can say, is nothing is as it seems.

This book started off really well and had me hooked, but the further it got into the story, the less interested I was, and the end left much to be desired. I loved all of the secrets and mysteries, but sadly once the truth was revealed, it just wasn't worth all of the build-up. The end was rushed and almost unrecognizable from the beginning. I gave this four stars because of how much I enjoyed the first half, but really it ends up about 3 1/2 stars.

This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. It kept me engaged until the very last page. It was one of those books that you think about when you aren't reading it and can't wait to get back to. I enjoyed the suspense, the magic and the emotion of the book. If you enjoy fantasy mixed with mystery then you will love this book too.
