I loved the way this story evolved, it started similar to Audacity (loved Athena and Gabes story) regards the way Marlowe and Brendan end up working together but with Marlowes daughter Tabby being sick makes the story have a different element of depth also with Brendan having ADHD was cleverly written in and how he struggled.
Its a shame the the Sullivan family didn’t recognise Brendan character arc as he became more responsible and how successful and how hard he worked
I couldn’t put the book down, it’s really well written

Brendan and Marlowe
Billionaire construction CEO and single Mum with a sick child whose only option of treatment cost £100k. Marlowe is left with no other option than to work for Seraph as an all access EA
Brendan who is an adult child pushes her beyond her limit and is forced to grovel to get her back.

I devouredddd this book. Elodie Hart never misses. This just might be my second favorite book of hers. It was so wonderful. The medical aspect was done well; just enough to make you feel for Marlowe and Tabs but not too drawn out with unnecessary dramatics. The grovellingggg! Brendan really stepped up and acknowledged his f**k ups full on. We love a man who takes responsibility and doesn’t make excuses. Marlowe also stood her ground which, yay to FMCs who know their worth.

Wow. I honestly am surprised and just how much I loved this one. I did not want it to end! This put me through the wringer emotionally…many tears were shed. The groveling was TOP NOTCH. I was convinced that there was nothing Brendan could do to make me like him but alas. Wow. Loved it. I took off .5 just because I wasn’t sold on Marlowe actually enjoying the role as she claims to later on and I would have liked to see more of their dynamic outside of just the sex.
