This was excellent. You felt Tyler's grief come through the pages, but also her joy and love for her mom. It made me really appreciate my mom and made me think more about our relationship and the things that I want to remember most. It was a quick and easy read, the graphics were delightful, and I really felt as though I could relate to Tyler in numerous ways.

This is such a moving and touching memoir on death and the ways that when someone dies, especially unexpectedly and young, it really fucks you up. And that maybe we should find a new way to frame it other than desiring everyone to "heal" completely from grief.

Reading it made me revisit my own grief from three of my grandparents dying in the past two years, and really face how I also feel like I'm not healing correctly or fast enough because I still miss them so much.

This book is it. My grandmother, who I was really close to and have lived with all my life, passed away from cancer just last week. And this small book explained all my emotions so well. I felt understood.
