Late review. I liked this book, but it's barely post-apocalyptic. Most of the story is just flashbacks of some rich actor and his wife. The story was good and it was a beautifully written novel, but the lack of actual post apoc content bothered me.

I've been scared to read this for a while now because I heard a lot of good things about it but i thought i wouldn't like it, since I'm not really much of a Shakespeare fan, however it really took me by surprise and i loved it, and most importantly the Shakespeare in this wasn't the main focus nor was it as annoying as i expected lol

Nothing wrong with this one, I'm just not the reader for it! Too much character study, not enough pandemic vibes for me personally. I'm also not really a fan of Shakespeare/classic plays.

People reading this book during the pandemic are sick in the head (about myself) (but it was so incredibly good)
