I kinda hate the author's vibe and you can't read a self-improvement book if you hate their vibe.
This book is a beautiful warm hug. So insightful, empathetically converses with you to forego your ideas of suffering artist, dignity and passion and encourages you to joy. To create because if you don’t, what else are you going to do?
A must read for anyone dabbling with arts. But also for anyone who think they aren’t, because the very act of existence means you are creating.

No book has ever motivated me more to embrace my creativity. There are so many wonderful pieces of advice in Big Magic, and in my opinion, every creative should read this book.
