A splendid book! Lovely characters and a wide variety of things happen in the best way possible. The book has serious things, but approaches them with a bit of a lighthearted, childlike nature that makes you feel happy and resolved.
A very strange girl who claims she is from the stars and has alien powers shows up on your doorstep. From there only miracles happen as everyone bonds and heals from their own past trauma. I loved all these characters and how they all worked together to give a lost girl a safe and loving home.
