I read this 4th in the series, so after Heir of Fire, and not really sure what I think. Maybe it will be helpful later in the series, but for now it feels like I could have skipped it

This book does begin real slow! It did take me much longer to read as a result. This book definitely concentrates on world building and the characters before it becomes more involved in the plot. However, it was hard to put down at the end!
