Read this 3rd. There was a great twist at the end (but yet I also felt it was coming, if that makes any sense??)!! 
I loved the pirate story and the last two stories as well!!

I understand Celaena so much more, thanks to these short stories. They went continuously better and more emotionally epic. Especially the last three had me on the edge of my seat. She turned so much more admirable and badass. I really needed that knowledge to appreciate and understand her character in the main books. I understand her crippling fear of the king and why she behaves so arrogant and ignorant to Adarlans empire. It makes all sense and is soooooo incredibly sad!!

Sam Cortland is the sweetest and a perfect partner for Celaena. In every sense! They are like perfect halfs of each other and their story is one big tragedy. It's beautifully written and I especially enjoyed her love for the theatre and music. First of all, that's very relatable and also her way of coming down and escape the very harsh and painful world.

Let her get some revenge, PLEASE!!
