Not a big fan of the premise that you can be so ugly that you don’t deserve love. She has a big nose. Who doesn’t?

Cute read, but I found it really annoying how often the heroine was described as ugly to everyone but the hero.

Interesting, funny, sweet, and quite romantic. I loved this story of two people who are a complete opposite of each other and yet fit together perfectly.

Some very obvious and grating issues about how the physical description of Gina was written and reinforced but otherwise a fairly solid rom-com.

Butterface is suppose to be about empowerment about body image. Or face image in this case. I was expecting Gina to be kick ass heroine.

Now the way the story went and how the character developed, Gina is more whinny selfish, self pity heroine. Just because she had traumatic past she demanded everyone to feel sorry for her.

This book can be so much better with a strong heroine.

Fun, sexy, quick read with a satisfying romance.

2.5 stars

I didn't end up finishing this. I'm over the macho man who needs to save the woman, so I think that's just me

I loved the way that Ford loved Gina from the beginning. That he loved her for her person, including what she looked like. Understanding this while reading only made every self-deprecating thought Gina had about herself annoying. I rolled my eyes everything, confused why she couldn’t see that his feelings for her were true. Like I get the classic, jerk pretends to be into her only to laugh in her face with their entire school bit. But Ford never did anything like that at all. In the end, this book is 3.5 stars for me because of Ford.
