I have been anxiously waiting to get to Wulf’s story! His wasn’t a quick whirlwind romance, but rather slow to get him to the alter. I was actually starting to wonder why this was all dragging out, but then realized Wulfrick couldn’t have a quick whirlwind romance. His needed to unravel slowly to show he really isn’t all ice and cold. Of course, the ending had me in tears and I’m so sad to see the Bedwyn saga come to a close. This is one of my favorite series!

Liked this, but Mary Balogh can't write intense romance, I think. However, liked homage to P&P. :)

A great finale to a lovely series. Aidan and Alleyne are still my favorite but Wulfric definitely has a special place in my heart. This book is very clearly Pride and Prejudice inspired. I liked that the characters didn’t change to love each other at the end. Wulfric was still cold and haughty at the end and Christine was still loud talkative but they learned to love that about each other.

Definitely my favorite of the series.
