What happens if you are a God with only one follower. How can you regain your place in the world. As ever Pratchett has a unique take on a subject most of us don't think much about - what happens when people believe more in the institution that what it stands for.

I think I’m in love with Terry Pratchett. After finishing Going Postal, I barely took a break before snatching this up. And I was not disappointed. It wasn’t as laugh-out-loud funny as Going Postal, but it was smart, witty, poked fun in all the right places and was still a plain ol’ fun read. I may or may not have a huge to-read stack sitting in my room, but I may have to make a trip to the used book store for a little more Discworld first…
As always, Pratchett's grasp of history and of the English language was such he managed to tell a completely original story while keeping it embedded in historical fact. Beautifully written, a joy to read.
I struggled at the end of this book but that may have been because of Dad’s death. Didn’t connect much with this book probably because I’m not a religious person
