Katee Robert finished this series off with another wonderful, spicy tale. Malone (like Ursa) is a great protagonist who shows the power of a strong woman. This book is another spicy retake, this time on the classic taste of Sleeping Beauty. I thought this was great novel and the entire series is a true gem.
I think I am done with this series overall. It's to the point where the spice scenes are basically all the same, the characters don't seem very fleshed out anymore, and it's pretty redundant. I love that this series connects with her other series, but I can't get myself to read anymore. I love Robert's writing, so it isn't that, I think the setting and storyline could be finished by now.

this was good, I liked the characters, especially Aurora, and their relationship. I didn’t like how Aurora put her revenge aside for most of the book bc she was horny, and I didn’t understand why Malone got mad at the end when she was in the wrong

The world building, plot, and characters were kind of ass, but that smut was fire I can’t even lie.

I can't express how much I loved this book! Enemies to lovers is my favourite trope, and this one was written so well. I loved how you dealt with grief, and how you showed that its not a linear process. Aurora and Malone got the perfect ending. It was happy, but not they lived happily ever after, which I liked because relationships will always be complicated, especially theirs. Not to mention, you did representation so well, and I loved Sara, they're a complete badass. I also liked that you wrote polyamory properly, so all parties were consenting, and it wasn't cheating. Honestly, such a good book, and holy shit it was so hot.

For a Sleeping Beauty retelling it's very loose. There isn't even any somnophilia. I was expecting there would be somnophilia in a Sleeping Beauty BDSM retelling. Also why are the Amazons white? Still a fun book though, just way more of a mafia romance than a fairytale retelling.
Graphic: Sexual content, Violence, Grief, Death of parent
Moderate: Toxic relationship
Minor: Slavery, Fire/Fire injury
