Interesting, but it read to me like a bunch of random tidbits, theories, and anecdotes, rather than a thoughtfully constructed text. I would've liked more evidence for the more esoteric of theories. For example, if trees are sentient beings and can feel pain then that's a big deal, and I'd like it explored and discussed as such.
