loooooove this series!! Something about this book was harder than the first two to get through, though I think that says more about the issues I have with longer series these days than anything else. A lot of the beginning of this book was me trying to recall where we had left off last time. Max and the hurriedness of the plot is where I took off a star :-)
While I enjoyed this series, it is not one that left me LOVING it. I will be honest - my brain started to hurt with all the add-ins of this book. I can’t say more than that without spoiling it. It didn’t feel like a conclusion to the series; it felt like a separate book. I enjoyed the characters still and their unique qualities, which is probably why I was still willing to give this 3 stars. All in all, not sure if this is a series I will recommend to people based on this final book.
