I really enjoyed this one!!

The first like 50 pages were slow going for me and I think it was just acclimating to the world and the older time period it is set and the writing. But once I got past that, I fell very quickly into the story.

I was gripped about what was going on. I found the story of the maker families to all be super interesting. I liked seeing the Hatmaker family, but I do wish we saw more of them all.

I liked the whimsy of the story and I enjoyed the characters a lot. All of them were pretty great. The silliness and the wackiness was a lot of fun. I’m intrigued to see where this story is going and what the next installment brings! I hope we see more of the families and the history of the world.

Can’t wait to read the next book!

Maybe some day; maybe never.

I'm gonna give it 2.5⭐️, just and only because it took me ages to finish it

I have never enjoyed a middle grade audiobook, so honestly this one is on me.
