The heroine was incredibly annoying. The hero was fantastic and I kept hoping the heroine would get better, but she was just a stupid idiot the whole time. Her blind nature just annoyed me so much, I read upto like 50% and then skipped to the end. I think it might have been a better book if the author had skipped the heroine's POV(I can't believe I just said that, I am always annoyed when contemporary romances have no dual-POV yet this time, I truly felt like the heroine's POV held the story back).

My Lord, this was a drag! The pacing was all over the place some things were slow and other things were super fast. So many things that could have been much more better just fell so short. The miscommunication in this story drove me to wanna drink. So many ways this could have been better and it just fell so short.

What happens?
Evie is Nate's assistant, when a psycho ex turns back up into his life and starts to make threats about bidding on him during an auction he asks Evie to bid on him using his money and save him from her.
However upon winning him they end up having to go on the date which involves going to Vegas, which they end up waking up in the same bed wearing matching wedding bands with no memory of what had happened the night previous.
Final thoughts
I liked this!
Its quirky enough to appeal to me and I liked Nate and Evie, especially together. The romance is sweet and I love seeing the other characters (I'd read Kim's story before this one)
