The ending was unsatisfying & this was barely even pregnancy trope. The baby was mentioned like three times. Also the hitler joke was so not funny.
This was definitely a let down. There were too many unnecessary details (Evie getting her thong mailed back to her, Kim talking about the dog, Cat, and Wyatt) and there were a lot of lose ends. What happened with Georgette? I can’t believe she just disappeared for good. And I don’t understand why Nathan didn’t have everything put in his and Evie’s name. I understand a grand gesture, but they were already married. She owned half of everything anyway. She was the one who was making the money a big deal. Evie was irritating at times. She was quick to jump to conclusions about Nate and his family, even though she didn’t know that much about him. And I honestly don’t get why she was mad at Nate when she found out about her dad. That was her fault for just blindly trusting her long last dad, regardless of what her mom said. The ending was a let down. There was no mention of the baby…and it definitely felt rushed…there was definitely too much time spent on parts of the story that didn’t really add anything to useful to Nate and Evie’s story.

Felt the ending was rushed and then it just stopped. Off to find the bonus epilogue to see if that helps

I liked this one a tad bit better than Stealing the Bride. The pacing with this story felt a little off. And again ended really abruptly! Nothing came of the Chadwick plot or the Tom plot! Why even write about those characters and do absolutely nothing? That makes me so irrationally angry! I love Evie and Nate is hilarious. And maybe too perfect. But they work together. I just really wish there was more development with all the plot points. And more time spent with her family and his! I do really love Evies and Nates relationship. It's super sweet and has been brewing for a while.
