@tmloganauthor is an absolute master of  psychological thrillers, and after finishing this, I'm even more convinced! The characters are so likeable and flawed and most of the time morally grey. I can connect with them and envision myself in their shoes very easily. This story of a mother accused of murdering her husband and going to jail and trying to find out the truth after her release was incredible. The unravelling of this was fast-paced, and the fear for her slowly creeping in and settling was palpable. Slowly, as the pieces are being picked apart and put back together, you start to realise how deep the betrayle is, and it's so incredible, tragic, and sad. All I can say is incredible. If you are looking for a thriller that will have you spinning afterwards, then this is it!

3⭐️ read via audiobook.

I did like this one, but didn’t love it. It was good in the beginning, paced well and thought it was heading in a good direction but I got a bit bored along the way. I don’t mind political thrillers but this felt a bit far fetched and I had trouble keeping up with all the conspiracy theories etc. I didn’t mind the characters, twist at the end was okay - shocking but not life changing.

This is a very easy read. Moves quickly and keeps you interested. There were some tense moments, but not as many as I was expecting from the quote on the cover.

It all played out well and was neatly tied up with a satisfying conclusion. I partially figured out the answer but not all of it, and the intricacies of the plot were very well done.

Another great read. Tense, dark, corruption and twists. A 'wrongfully?' arrested mother sent to prison for 10/18yrs for the death of her husband. A did she or didn't she thriller.
