An interesting look at a man I didn't know much about. The book also delved more deeply into the reasons of the decision to deploy the atomic bombs over Japan as well as the deteriorating relationship with Russia and the start of the Cold War. I feel as though I now have a more solid beginning concept of some "whys."

Great read!

I am usually partial to fiction but am glad I tried this book. Well-written and engaging! It is crazy to know everything Truman faced in just 4 months.
