A good sequel to the first book. I strongly disliked the parts where Shay and her group were self-harming, not because I have anythig against writing about self-harm in teen book but because I found the author got the concept of self-harming wrong.
Still, it had a rivoting plot and keeps you thinking.

Plenty of good twists in the story, left me wanting more, except the whole “cutters” clique, could have went a different way. That randomly in there could have been a trigger for many people.

I'm going to keep reading the series because I really like the premise (everyone is given plastic surgery at the age of sixteen) and the questions raised by it (what is the price to pay for beauty?). In the second book, Tally has just become a pretty, but is slowly discovering that things aren't as wonderful as she thought they'd be. My main complaint is that the plot was generally predictable.
