Another addition to the Forever Wilde series and this one focuses on Hudson, the only straight one of the Wilde bunch. Well that ship sure sailed during this book and it was delicious.
Charlie, the other MC of this book, was just adorable. He was femme yet he was bossy. He was a mix of contradictions and it just worked for him. It also of course worked for Hudson.
Their story ends in an HEA, but it took awhile to get there. Hudson was a bit flippant over his newfound desires and sexuality. I understand it was a new thing for him but the man has been surrounded by gay men his entire life. I would have thought he'd confide in his family more for support instead of hiding away in his head.
The banter is key in this series and keeps the stories flowing. There is plenty of steam and woop woop we have a bum virgin on our hands. Wink wink
The ex girlfriend plays a small role in the book, but I'm pretty sure the story could have done without her. It didnt really add much to the plot and there was no real big drama surrounding her and Hudson thankfully.
Next up is Saint whom I am particularly excited for. I'm liking the idea of him with a certain shy man with a fondness for his cat.

well - i love a good plotline and story location - this story had both!
starting with the fear-ridden plane ride, to mistaking Charlie for a girl at the bar, and then moving on to learning about business issues and secrets.. then to the unfortunate impregnation of a sheepdog.. well there was lots of love
But mainly I loved CHARLIE the adorable irish sassy man. I did NOT love the narration of his voice on audiobook - I am kinda getting used to the botching of UK & Irish voices on these mm audiobooks though. But it does spoil it somewhat for me, and I would have stopped listening in the first chapter for this very reason, if I hadn't been won round by the mc of CHarlie!

This book was funny and sweet. I hated the Irish accent in the audiobook. Sometimes it was hard to hear exactly what the character was saying. But I stayed with it and enjoyed the story. I really liked Hudson. His internal struggle made sense and I loved how they came together in the end. I’m looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.
It was frustrating how long it took for them to get together. And I mean, it happened around the last 2 chapters. I can’t handle that much anxiety. But I did enjoy how things worked out for them in the end
I think the Wilde series is a lot more polished than the Marians! Oh, we see Tilly here, and for the first time ever, I didn’t hate her. So things are improving here

Hudson and Charlie were perfect.
With each novel, I fall deeper and deeper in love with Lucy Lennox. This is turning into one of my all time favorite series and I seriously just devour each and every book! Up next is Saint and I am SO excited.

This was great and fun and sexy as all get out. I loved reading Hudson coming to terms with his attraction to Charlie. I loved watching them fall in love.
I also loved the grandparents, as they happily make cameos in all the books in the series. They rock. The whole series is so readable, I didn’t want to put this one down.
