Technically a DNF for me but counting it as read since I got through over 300 pages of it.  Overly descriptive on parts that are not relevant to the story.  So much so, that I kept losing focus and couldn't push through anymore.

Man, what a great book!!! I finished it quickly because I couldn’t put it down. The ending was something I didn’t see coming. You really got a feel for the characters. It was moderately disturbing. Absolute psychological thriller.

Sooo good! I love that in the midst of such dark content that Dean Koontz writes in such hilarious characters. The quick whit and sarcasm is needed to help lighten the psychological heaviness of the story. I was on the edge of my chair and shouting at the characters as if I were a part of the story. This novel is a clear example of why Dean Koontz is a best selling author.
