Gritty, raw, thrilling, and violent crime novel. I was invested right away, and was stressing through the second half! Bug be getting on my nerves so much, though! lol I don’t think this is Cosby’s best, but it was still very intriguing and engaging.

“Blacktop Wasteland” felt like reading a movie. S.A. Cosby’s writing is incredibly descriptive and intentional—every scene is vivid and powerful. From beginning to end, the story pulls you in, and you can’t help but feel for Bug as he navigates his world. A gripping, emotional ride that sticks with you.
