I really enjoyed Blacktop Wasteland. All of S.A. Cosby's books feel like movie scripts. There's always so much action and suspense packed into each story. 

In Blacktop Wasteland we follow Beauregard, also known as Bug, who was in the life and got out. He is known for his driving skills and those skills connect him to a father who is long gone. When life starts to life, Bug has some decisions to make about how to address the situation. What follows is an action packed story that involves cartels, hustlers, criminals, and more. 

I gave this story 4 stars because the main character makes some decisions that don't truly seem to align with how he moves (but maybe that adds to the realism of the book?). Either way, another fantastic read by S.A. Cosby. Highly recommend audiobooks for all of his publications.
