There were definitely some gems in here and I loved the concept of speaking directly to the reader at certain points. I just also think that maybe this was the wrong point in my life for me to be reading this. I think this would be great if you are freshly coming out of a bad relationship.
“The memories hurt the most. They destroy bits and pieces of our existence, draining us of our energy, keeping us up at night. No matter the gender, no matter the sexual orientation, no matter the color of skin, we are all haunted by the same emotional devils. We are all running from similar demons.”
Kitap sadece üzdü. Abartıldığı kadar güzel değildi, bitirmek için bitirdim resmen.
i dont think you could understand how bad this was

treat her like you're afraid
of losing her to someone else
bitch what in the f-ing hell.
i think this was a men hate/clueless feminist/rebirth thingy that doesn't make any sense to me. because (1) if u gonna hate on men do it better, (2) if you're gonna put feminist themes in your poetry do it better (and not to mention that this made me rethink of modern romanian feminist poetry. and dont even let me begin on this, cause im never going to finish), (3) this wasnt about rebirth as much as it was about healing but i think it was handled wrong.
sure, everybody can write poetry, it's versatile. but even tho i understand the concept of abstract poetry and poems without rime, i believe this was one of the worst poetry books ive read yet. some of them were so bad, so pointless, so idk, empty of meaning.
i kinda had big hopes ngl. failed them completely.

i really loved this collection. it made me feel all the feels and i really loved it overall but it wasn't my favourite. i think because i read [b:She Felt Like Feeling Nothing|36456129|She Felt Like Feeling Nothing|R.H. Sin|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1509280838l/36456129._SX50_.jpg|58161297] first and i really connected to it i had really high expectations for this. this was amazing but not my favourite by R.H. Sin
is it weird that im sitting here w my broken heart in pieces feeling thankful that it is the way it is because i got to unlock the part of myself that enjoys sad poetry? emotions are meant to be felt, arent they?
A beautiful example of how the mind, the heart, and the body function before, during, and after a relationship, and all the thoughts in between.
The poem made me purchase the book instantly:
12:16 after midnight
"I was forced
to service
in your absence
I was faced
with the realization
that I never needed you"
