Rachel and Nick were very 2D. Their issues are resolved basically immediately. The conflict doesn’t feel real. Much of the book is spent just narrating how crazy rich these people are, as opposed to having an actual plot.

I really like the book. My only complaint was that the family structure can be quite complicated. I would recommend printing a family tree to have next to you while you read.
