Not only is based an hour from where I live but the book was so well written. I was sucked in right away and stayed up way too late to finish it. Creepy but so good!

I’ve had this one on my kindle for a while, and finally decided to pick it up. Heather was a compelling character, and I enjoyed trying to piece together what was happening with her. Beth’s chapters were griping and help build suspense. The twists and turns kept me guessing, but I did sort of figure out a few of the plot pieces before the big reveals. The setting was very well described, and I felt like I was right there with Heather and Beth. While I was definitely invested in the plot, it was a little slow paced for my liking. And some of the reveals felt a bit anticlimactic since I’d figured them out before the reveal. The ending wrapped the story up well. I liked how it showed the way things worked out for the characters after the resolution of the plot.

I did not realized the subject matter before I stared.
